Medical liability
a 17 year old female without insurance was involved in an auto accident. she was ticketed for driving to fast for conditions. As a minor, is she liable for medical payments for alleged injuries to the driver of the other automobile?

Minors are just as liable for their negligence as adults. Thus, if the minor caused the accident and was 100% at fault then the minor would be liable for medical payments for alleged injuries to the driver of the other automobile. However, I recommend that the injured driver contact an attorney to work through this as there are way too many other issues that need to be addressed including their own insurer's medical payments coverage and uninsured motorist coverage.
