If a person got injured in a retaurant and its turning out to be alot bigger that first thought, do we need to hire a attorney?

You would only be able to recover pain and suffering damages if your injury were caused by the negligence of the restaurant or by a violation of the safe place statute. If that is the case, you probably will need a lawyer to investigate the facts of the case and represent you in a claim, and perhaps a lawsuit, against the insurance company for the restaurant. Keep in mind that the statute of limitations for personal injury cases in Wisconsin is three years from the date of injury.
