Is a Volunteer an Employee?
Personal Injury case: driver was fully insured and a Volunteer - driver plowed into the back of cars that were stopped on an on-ramp. driver was cited for inattentive driving & totaled the car. I was a seatbelted passenger, & sued him.
Need attorney to handle case asap.

I agree with the other two lawyers who replied to your question. It seems that you should be able to pursue your case and be compensated for your injuries, medical expenses, and wage loss.

I am confused by your question. Even if you were an employee, you can still sue the driver who injured you. If you were volunteering at the time, you can still sue the driver who injured you. The value of your case depends upon the injuries that you have suffered--medical bills and wage loss--and the effect that the injury will have on you in the future.
