Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Wisconsin
My husband and I put an offer on a house we had the inspection, there is arsenic in the well, radon, and some other small things. A radon mitigation system was installed as far as we know and I believe they are rectifying the arsenic however we want to get out of the purchase. Since they sellers did not notify us in writing in 10 days of the course of action they were going to cure these issue can we get out legally on that premise and not loos our earned money or get sued for more?

Yes, you possibly can get out of a home purchase contract with the help of n experienced real estate lawyer, based upon a failure of the seller to timely submit a notice of intent to cure inspection defects and timely follow up on the repairs. Nobody could evaluation your case, however, without first seeing all of your paperwork. If your rights are properly protected, the earnest money should normally be returned in such a scenario.
