Can a mortgage servicer use their posting date as the date payment is received even though it takes them 2-3 weeks to post the payment, making the payment late?

A letter is received when posted in Pa. If there is nothing in the mortgage to the contrary, payment is received at least when it reaches the mortgage Co. Try sending by certified mail as proof when they receive payment.
