Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Wisconsin

perjury

I was recently in a civil trial, and evidence was given to support my case, so photo's and video's I have were not presented. Yet I clearly have evidence that one of the parties committed perjury. Should I file some sort of complaint,or contact someone to start the chain of events of events for his perjury? Who should I contact? The sheriff dept.? My lawyer has not responded to my questions on this subject.

Perjury Complaint

You really need to discuss this with your attorney before doing anything. Generally speaking, anyone damaged by perjury can bring a private lawsuit for their damages. Criminal prosecution is also possible, but before this can occur, the investigators must find evidence that the untruth is "material" to the facts being litigated rather than extraneous. The lie must also be made with intent to deceive (rather than due to mere memory failure).
