Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Wisconsin

property ownership

My wife has 3 siblings and a mother who is no longer able to live in her mortgage free home. Her sister has power of attorney that is in effect and the mother lives with her. The name on the property listing is as follows: last name, first name, life est etal. My wife says all the children are named as owners of the property. My question is 'do all the siblings have a right to decide on the handling of the property or only the only sister with POA??' Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: property ownership

If the mother has a life estate, she (and therefore her POA) only has the ability to transfer her life estate. The title-holders would all need to sign if they wanted to transfer fee simple title.
