Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Wisconsin

Quit Claim on my Mother's house

One year ago, my brothers & sisters (5 of us) had my Mother's house put into all of our names as my Mother has Alzheimers and we were concerned she would lose the house via bad judgement. We had to put her in an assisted living residence as of December 2006. My brother is about to buy her house. We want all the money from the sale of the house to go to my mother. Can we Quit Claim the house back to her? How is this done and what expenses can we expect? Do we need a lawyer? Can it be done right before the closing? The house is in Wisconsin and would take place there.

You are faced with a difficult decision which requires the assistance of an attorney with Elder Law experience. I am not such an expert, but there are others in my firm as well as many other Elder Law attorneys. You should get help to minimize your risks.
