Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Wisconsin

Raffle

I own a small bar in Northern Wisconsin and want to get rid of it. I was wondering if there was some way that it's legal to sell it on a raffle with some type of registration fee??? Or is there some other way to sell it in this type of manner???? Please respond A.S.A.P.

Would very much appreciate it

Thank You!

Re: Raffle

Hello, I must admit that I am not aware of how to sale a business via a raffle. It may be possible, but I am not sure without doing research. However, much more typical is an auction. That may meet your needs. Best wishes, Mark J. Mahoney

Re: Raffle

The raffle may create some problems, since they are designed for not for profit entities to raise money. On the other hand there are realtor/auctioneers, such as Bruce Bieri in Wild Rose that could auction your property off. I'd suggest a more conventional method, if you want to keep the funds.
