real estate judgement

My house got foreclosed on and there was a judgement against it from an old friend i owed money. Now i am selling other property i own, can he collect his judgement through the sale of other property, even though its against the house that got foreclosed?

You describe the debt to your friend as a judgment. If it is a judgment then it is a lien on ALL real estate that you own in any county in which the judgment is docketed. In fact the judgment is MORE effective against NON-homestead real estate because there is no homestead exemption to protect it. The foreclosure has no effect on this judgment except as to the specific real estate foreclosed upon.
