Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Wisconsin
real estate
In September I signed a purchase agreement for delivery of a manufactured home to my lot by October 30, or within 15 days after. The house got there in December and I still haven't been able to move in. Due to certain problems with the cold weather, the costs on setting up the house have gone up $8,000. If the house had been done in October or earlier November like they told me those costs would not have been accrued. Is there anyway I could legally tell them I am not going to pay the extra and they need to get their house off of my lot?

Re: real estate
Generally, contracts for home construction have
explicit provisions regarding weather delays. I would
suggest you have someone read your whole contract
before you try to get this opinion.
