Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Wisconsin

Realtor gave our copyright floor plan to other builder for profit

We are home builders. We contracted with a realtor to sell our new construction home. We had 2 parties interested in our home. We accepted the bid from party 1 and told (via our realtor) party 2 that we would build her a home exactly like the 1st one on a lot of her choice. The realtor told us she changed her mind. Realtor gave our plans to a different builder and they built her the same house. She thought the builder was us when in fact it was the realtor's friend. What can we do about this? What are the laws about stealing floor plan designs? Is this against some sort of code of ethics for the realtor? Please advise.

Hello,

I dont have enough facts to give a firm opinion, however, here are some thoughts. Your title says plans were copyrighted...by you? If so, you may have some rights there, though I am not a copyright lawyer. There may be some claim for interference with contract, but that may be a long shot. You would have to ask local counsel to do some research on that one. Best wishes,
