Is seller of property liable for undisclosed mold problem?

Within a week of moving into new home we found severe mold problem in rafters of basement. Cost of removal is $5000.00. This mold was undisclosed by seller or inspector. Is the seller responsible for these damages? If so where do I find a copy of the law(s) related to this matter.

I mold was exposed for you to see before closing, it may be your problem. If it was hidden, and only if the seller knew about it, it would be the seller's problem. If it was hidden, but neither of you knew about it, it still becomes your problem.
