Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Wisconsin

I just sold my home

My home was broken into in sept. and I just had a accepted offer on my house. The buyers went to get the house insured and the insurance company told them that my house was robbed ( there is still an on going investigation )and now they might not buy my house. Can they tell the new buyers that my house was robbed?

The fact of an insurance claim can be determined from a CLUE property report. I am not aware of restrictions on insurers prohibiting disclosure of the facts stated in a CLUE report to a potential insured, but there may be such privacy restrictions. As for a potential buyer, the issue presumably would be whether a past home invasion is somehow a material defect. This strikes me as a dubious proposition.
