Legal Question in Traffic Law in Wisconsin
My driver license was issued in wisconsin and i received a letter from south dakota stating my south dakota driver license is revoked due to past child support so is my license still valid since its not from south dakota?
1 Answer from Attorneys
If WI has reciprocity with S. Dakota's traffic computer, it may honor the revocation and revoke your WI license. You should therefore catch up on the child support if you want to avoid problems or retain an attorney to research this issue for you.
Dont assume that I am your attorney because of my response here, but instead call my office in Racine (262-633-3090 or email [email protected]) for clarifications. But if you want me to do more than that, you will need to make additional arrangements.
