DUI, OWI, Drunk Driving 5th Offense, Penalties for a Class H Felony in WI
The initial period of incarceration for a class H felony in WI is three years in prison, followed by up to three more years of extended supervision upon release from prison. If extended supervision is subsequently revoked, the person can go back to prison for the balance of the term of extended supervision. In addition, there are fines, restitution and various penalty enhances which can increase the term of imprisonment for various reasons (such as the severity of a prior record, use of a weapon, etc.) Obviously, if you are facing one of these, you need experienced legal representation as soon as possible.
