Legal Question in Traffic Law in Wisconsin
Incorrect court date on citation
I was issued a traffic citation, which I dispute, but don't live near the area where it was issued. I thought I might drive up to dispute it, but the date of the court appearance on the citation is for January of last year. Is this legal?

Re: Incorrect court date on citation
You will not prevail on a citation simply because of a typographical error. You must still appear in 2002, despite the misprint stating 2001
