Intentional hit and run
in trempleau county, wisconsin on jan. 23,2001 i was rearended in a hit and run by an individual that does not have insurance on his vehicle. the police found the individual and issued him several citations but the police still do not have intent to find a way to fix my car. how do i go about getting the money from this individual to perform the repairs needing to be done on my car? he has no insurance and i only have liability insurance on my vehicle. i despirately need advice. thank you.

If the person is driving withhout insurance the only way you are going to recover from him is to sue him in a Civil Suit. If he does not have any assets nor a job you will not be able to recover even if you do get a judgement against him.
