You have not given me enough information to assist you, since I have no idea from your question why you lost your license, nor why you cannot get it back. If it was due to a drunken driving related conviction, loss of license can become permanent in WI unless you complete all treatment/detox/long term therapy requirements of your driver's safety plan. OWI/DUI related findings on your record also trigger mandatory proof of insurance requirements via a special SR-22 insurance certificate, as well as ignition interlock devices which require an alcohol free breath sample before your car will start. Failure to comply with any of these requirements can prevent you from getting your license back. Drunken driving accident damages are also not dischargeable in bankruptcy, so if you lost your license due to failure to pay a damage judgment, that restriction could become permanent until you paid the damages off. I would be happy to assist if you want to refine your question via a private email. My comments in this online forum are not intended as legal advice to anyone, nor do they create an attorney client relationship between us, unless you subsequently retain me and revisit the issue with me later.
