Accident Damages for 15 Year Old Driver, Parental Liability
In addition to the minor driver being personally liable for accidents which are their fault, the parents of a minor are strictly liable for up to several thousand dollars in WI for damages caused by their children. This only applies, however, to willful and malicious conduct by the child which is a somewhat vague definition. Illegal driving, however, arguably falls within it. You therefore need to consult your own attorney as soon as possible, since I am not permitted to advise you or act as your attorney in this online forum.
