Failure to Pay Traffic Tickets When Due
Of course, if a person contests a citation and is found not guilty, there is no obligation to pay any fine. If a person has been convicted and fined, the penalty for failure to pay by the due date is generally up to the judge. It can be anything from a jail sentence to driver's license revocation.
