Legal Question in Traffic Law in Wisconsin
I received a ticket in the mail after being stopped for driving thru a road under construction with a sign market ''road closed to thru traffic.'' The road was not blocked off in any manner, no workers were preset. Basically an officer on a motorcycle was stopping everyone using this road and 2 days later I received a ticket in the mail. I live down the road that was blocked off and have traveled down this road for the past 20 years to get to me house.

If you were part of the allowed "local traffic," you may have a defense to the ticket. Get a lawyer if you are serious about challenging it, however. since your theory of defense is unlikely to be taken very seriously by prosecutors if you do not have one.
