Got a speeding ticket in Wisconsin
I was on vacation in Wisconsin last month and got a speeding ticket. I am an Illinois driver/citizen and was on court supervison for a speeding ticket in my home state. Will the wisconsin conviction effect my IL court Supervision?
I know Wisconsin in NOT in the compact, and therefore does not HAVE to tell IL about the ticket.
my mom is an attorney and said she will talk to the county DA to make a deal.

WI Speeding Ticket--Effects Upon IL Judicial Probation
In my experience, the DOT computers in WI and IL have a very close relationship and talk to one another frequently. Many IL penalties are therefore triggered for IL drivers based upon WI convictions. In such a scenario, it is probably best to consult with an attorney in each state and to obtain representation in the WI matter. There are a few WI violations which are not recognized by the IL DOT's computers, and reductions to these can often prevent any impacts upon IL privileges.
