Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Wisconsin
Getting A Copy of a Will
I am divorced from my daughter's father. Her paternal grandfather died in Wisconsin in 1981. Her paternal grandmother died 6 or 7 years ago in a nursing home in Minnesota. She has reached her majority & believes she was entitled to some proceeds of the will. Her father "doles" out very little money to her & she is in need of a car at this time. My question is can she & how does she go about getting a copy of these wills? Does she need both of them or just the most recent? Thank you for any information.

Re: Getting A Copy of a Will
If either Will was admitted for Probate, a copy would be in the Court's file. You should consult with an estate and trust lawyer in the area for their assistance.
