Deceased mother estate

What is the procedures of my deceased mother estate.

She had a will and me and my brother are to split all assets. Does this need to be taken care of in probate court? Any help you can give me in how to go about this will be very helpful.

information, such as the value of the estate,

whether there are titled assets such as real
