Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Wisconsin

Name in parents Will but siblings excluded me.

I have two fathers one by blood and one who raised me. When the father who raised me passed away, my brothers and sisters split the inheritance amongst them selves and their children and did not include me (I live out of state but did stay in touch with my father and did attend the funeral). I requested a copy of the Will and my name is clearly written throughtout the Will along with theirs. Although I am not money driven, I am upset at the behavior of my brothers and sisters disreguard of my fathers wishes and would like to pursue legal action. What should be my next step in finding out what I am owed by each of them and in explaining it to them?

If there was a Wisconsin probate done, there will be records of it in the Probate Office in the county of residence as of the date of death. You will need to see an attorney at or near that county to effective pursue a course of action. If the estate is still open, it may have to be moved into formal probate and an adversary proceeding may have to be commenced. There is some chance that an attorney representing you may be able to get cooperation in disclosing what has all occurred, but that is not likely.
