Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Wisconsin
Power of attorney with living spouse
My grandmother passed away recently and my mother was the power of attorney. She immediately took all of the financial records(bank accts, stocks, bonds) and tolder my grandfather that he is to not to do anything with any money that he is no longer in charge of things. They are also trying to place him in a home so they can sell the farm. My grandfather has not been found incapable by any medical doctor and his still capable of doing everyday things. This does not seem fair, or right to make my grandfather think he's losing everything.

Re: Power of attorney with living spouse
You should contact the County Social Services in the county your grandfather resides or see if you can get him to an attorney. If he needs help, let the court decide who should act to help him.
