Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Wisconsin
Probate Necessary?
If a Wisconsin family member had no assets at all, is there any reason to be concerned about probate or anything like that?

Re: Probate Necessary?
If a person dies without owning anything, there is no probate required. If such person has any claims that are in need of enforcement against anyone, a special administation would need to be done to collect on the claim. Then a probate would be done.
