Protection of home & property from medical creditors

If a spouse may need extensive medical treatment & we want to protect our house & property so no creditors can ''take'' the property to pay for their services, is there a way we can protect it? Will putting all our property into a trust protect us from that more than a will?

Your question deals with divestiture as well as

obligations a spouse may have for necessary and

essential expenses of another spouse. You will need

to talk with an experienced elder law expert. There

are small firms with such experts, as well as people

with such experience in most firms with 10 or more attorneys.
