Last Will and Testament

To be a personal representative of a wiil, and to serve without bond. Does that mean to serve without receiveing compensation or pay?

Re: Last Will and Testament

No--the personal representative by statute

receives compensation of 2% of the estate,

plus actual reasonable expenses of administration.

Bond is a safeguard against dishonesty or

malfeasance by the personal rep. and is often

waived for close family members of the decedant.
