Are all wills a matter of public record? How do see someone's will thinking I might have been mentioned in it?

Not all wills are public records. About the only time you can see a will (other than the person whose will it is shows it to you) is if the person elected to file it with the probate court prior to death or if the will is offered for probate after the person's death.
