Legal Question in Workers Comp in Wisconsin

In pain and still working.

I was injured at work. It is documented, i did everything they told me including working for kandu while workers comp is in effect. Now i may have to have surgery and they tell me that if i do and i choose to take my pain medication, i will be sent home without pay, for refusing work because i took pain medication. Is that legal and what can i do to help myself?

Re: In pain and still working.

Injured worker's rights are set in Wisconsin under the provisions of Wisconsin's worker's compensation laws. The facts of your case need to be analyzed by an experienced Wisconsin worker's compensation attorney in order to determine how best for you to proceed. I suggest you look on the internet or in the telephone book for an experienced Wisconsin worker's compensation attorney and ask that attorney questions about fees and their experience to determine if they can help you.
