Re: llc filling
Generally speaking, LLCs may be "member managed" or "manager managed." Without reviewing the documents filed with the secretary of state, though, it's not possible for me to say what is meant by "principal," or whether this is relevant to control.
Re: llc filling
LLCs are owned by "members". Further, the LLC can be managed either by one or more managers or by the members. Are you listed as a member? Do you have an operating agreement? If you are the sole manager, you will generally have the right to control the decisions of the LLC. If there are other managers, you will generally have to vote with the other managers to make a decision for the LLC. Further, managers are usually appointed and fired by vote of the members. Therefore, if you're not a member, your management position can likely be terminated by whoever the members are at any time (unless you have some type of employment contract, which I suspect you don't.) Feel free to email any other questions.
