Protection from fraud

I would like to know what steps I would need to take to protect my self from someone hacking into my computer and finding out my credit card or bank account information and using it?

This is not really a legal question - it's a

technology question - but I will attempt to answer

it, at least partially.

Don't leave your computer on while you are not in

front of it. (Not a guarantee)

Use something like Zone Alarm to protect your computer

from virus and instrusion. (Not a guarantee)

Don't keep your credit card or banking information

on your computer. (Probably a guarantee it won't be

found there by a hacker.)

Don't use your credit card or bank account to pay

for anything online.
