Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Wyoming

Garnishment of checking account

Recently my checking account was garnished for a bill I had approximately 10 years ago. The account is in my name and my boyfriends name. The amount of the garnishment was 4900.00 leaving a negative balance of 4748.95 showing on my account. I have 3 checks out that are gonna bounce. Is this legal since the money deposited in the account belongs to my boyfriend? And how can they cause me to bounce checks by taking this money?

DId they get a judgment? Have you filed BKY? If yes and no, you need to get your BF's money OUT OF THERE pronto and hire an atty to NEGOTIATE a settlement.
