2nd degree attempted murder
Exactly what act do you have to commit to get this charge? Also, what is the time limit for a speedy trial?

You have to have tried to kill someone, maliciously, but without putting much thought to it (premeditation). Generally, in Wyoming speedy trial is within 180 days after your arraignment, but a number of circumstances can lengthen that period.
If you've already done this, what the hell are you doing asking the question here? You need a lawyer; it ain't a traffic ticket.
If this is an expression of ambition, it's too late to get the second degree: you've already premeditated. You might try a cooking class instead.
