Not enough information here to give a complete answer. Client confidentiality applies regardless of clients age, but mental capacity can change the duty somewhat. If client discloses a plan to commit a crime in the future, that communication is not privileged. There are other exceptions to the privilege. Often the court will appoint an attorney as guardian ad litem (GAL) to represent the interest of a minor; the GAL's job is to represent the best interest of the minor whether or not it matches the stated requests by the minor. A lawyer's job is never to "get a client off". The lawyer's job is to make sure that the client gets a fair trial and that the prosecution proves every element of the charge using only evidence that was legally obtained. The attorney might negotiate with the county attorney to reach a plea agreement, but it is the client's decision as to whether or not to enter the agreement.
