Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wyoming
Criminal Court Procedure
I am going to court in two weeks as a witness/victim in a sex offense crime. My question is about the court procedure with people testifying. Will I be allowed to stay in the courtroom throughout the trial, or will I have to leave so it does not influence my testimony? If it changes sometimes, can you try and be specific? I appreciate your time and energy.

Re: Criminal Court Procedure
When witnesses are excluded from the courtroom to insulate their testimony, each side may have one representative present. If the DA chooses, it can be you. Ask them ahead of time.
Otherwise you will be excluded also until after you testify if the rule is invoked by one side or another, and it almost always is.
