Re: motion to court
Yes, you can file a motion to the court yourself. You must be sure it has the caption of the case on it, then in the body tell the court what you want and why you want it. Tell the court why you deserve to be released from probation and what efforts you have made to get your PO to agree. Tell the Court why your PO does not agree.
Sign your motion and file with the Court. Take along 3 copies with you to get file stamped, one for you, one you will send to the County or District Attorney, and one to give to your PO.
At the same time you prepare your motion, prepare a Request for Hearing, again, using the caption on the document. Ask the Court to hear your motion to get off probation.
Together with this motion, prepare an Order Setting Hearing for the judge to sign. It can be simple - Defendant's motion to get off probation will be heard on [leave a blank for the date] at [leave a blank for the time] at [the name and address of the courthouse where it will be held.].
Put in a signature line for the judge.
File all these documents together. Ask the clerk when you can expect a signed copy of the order setting the hearing, and then check back at that time.
You must serve copies of all these documents on the county/district attorney and your PO. You can do so by mail. When you have put the documents in the mail to them, prepare a Certificate of Service telling the Court you have placed copies of the document(s) in the mail. Then file that certificate with the clerk. [It also has to have a caption and must be signed by you.] [Rule of thumb, if it is not a document which needs to be signed by someone else, you need to sign it.]
Good luck.
