Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wyoming
Type of punishment for Burglarly,18 yr.old,1st. time offense
My son is being charged for two counts of burglarly and destrution of property. He has never been in trouble befoe other than traffic tickets. He has grown up as a military dependent all his life and now has left Wyoming because he's afraid to go to prison. I would like to know what kind of sentencing he would most likely get. We are from a small town where they set down harsh punishments. Any help would greatly be appreciated!
Thank You...

First-time offenders are often given probation if the crime is not one of violence. A lawyer familiar with the DA and the Judges in your town can best advise you - initial consultations are usually done at no cost - ask first.
