Ex-Spousal Finances

I don't know if this question is a real issue or not. I have been divorced since 1998. I am wondering if I am entitled to any finances from my ex, like his Annuity, 401K, Savings, Life Insurance, etc. He is still living in Wyoming.

The simple answer requires a review of the divorce papers. Its possible you may still be owed money. It is common for a spouse to be awarded one half of pension and retirement benefits. It is also common for the follow up order--a Domestic or Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO) to not be entered promptly. It is possible that you are still entitled to some benefits.
