If neither mother nor father want the child.
if a young teenager who is now 17 yrs doesn't want the child and neither does the father but are right in the middle of a paternity court hearing what is it that the family can do to save this child?

Place the child for adoption or if a family member is willing to take the child, establish a permanent guardianship. Get a free consult with your local family law attorney in your jurisdiction and take it from there.
