Legal Question in Immigration Law in Wyoming

deported by INS from US, canada & mexico!??!!

I'm writing on behalf of my friend who is from Sweden and was on a tourist visa visiting the states. He stayed the 390 days he was allowed and went home to Sweden for xmas. He applied for a new tourist visa and was on his way back to the states...because he fell in love with an american girl and wanted to return. At the Seattle airport he was detained by Immigration who questioned him for 4 hours, accusing him of coming back to the US because he must have a job (illegally) which was not the case. He was only 21, alone, no lawyer to speak of and was throwm in Jail for a night and sent back to Sweden with a red stamp on his passport and was told he could not re enter the us, mexico or Canada for 12 years. He wants to return to the US to visit and he wants to work in Canada if possible. What are the first steps he needs to take to get some freedom back? He is a young, educated, muti lingual man with absolutly no criminal record.

A person who has been denied entry into the U.S. must seek a waiver in order to again seek admission into the U.S. The form is I-192, Advance Permission to Enter as Nonimmigrant.
