Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Wyoming

hello. my husband does not get the pay or title of a general manager but hes expected to perform all of the tasks of the GM. today the owner told him to sign the employee checks with his(the owners) name. my husband told the owner he didnt feel comfortable doing it but the owner replied with 'you have to im giving you my permission... i has to be my name'. is this legal or can my husband get in trouble for forgery? we locked the text messages just in case anything legal was brought up later.

If your husband's boss insists on this, I'd recommend having a power of attorney drawn up where the owner gives his permission in writing. A much simpler solution is to have the owner add your husband as an authorized signer for checks at the bank. Consult with a good business attorney in your area for specific advice.
