Legal Question in Military Law in Wyoming
Marrying a minor
Is it against military law for an active duty member in the airforce to marry a 16 year old. Wyoming law says its allowed, I am just wondering what the military law is without asking the military. What can happen? what cant?
Thanks

Within the United States there is no uniform military law which covers the age of consent for marriage. Typically that is a matter of state law. The age for consent to sexual intercourse under the Uniform Code of Military Justice is 16.
Re: Marrying a minor
So long as your marriage is legal in the state where you got married, the military has no law barring that. It is true that under Article 125, UCMJ, it is an offense to have sexual intercourse with a woman under 16 (that's the military statutory rape law).
