is it possible to appeal for enhancement of compensation under section 18 of land acquisition act for the land and building acquired by NHAI under NHAI act .

Dear Sir / Madam,
If the compensation claim amount for the acquired land has already been claimed, paid and settled by the Government, an appeal thereof cannot be preferred. If the claim has been accorded and passed, but is yet to be paid and settled by the Government, an appeal for enhancement of compensation is permissible.
