Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

I bought a land in 2006 and I have the EC transferred in my name and after 8 years a person has sent me a lawyer notice saying the belongs to him. I have all the docs. With me as proof and the EC is still in my name, how do I handle the situation?

Reply to the notice strongly and boldly through an advocate and in case he files any litigation then defend it. However please check the revenue records for whether you name has been mutated as the owner. You may drop in a detailed query at [email protected]
