Legal Question in Family Law in India

Facing cruelty inmy in-laws house now I am with my parents. In the meantime in-laws convinced my parents to take me again but I fear cruelty may be repeated. Can I ask my parents to obtain an undertaking from my inlawas or I will inform the police regarding the fact with a request not to proceed as precautionary measures.
