Legal Question in Family Law in India

In laws has thrown me out of the house. Saying to everyone that I'm depressed and have left the house with all jewellery and clothes. But I have nothing. They took all jewellry and even dont want to give my clothes. I'm not depressed. my husband wants divorce. They forced me to give them in written that I'm not happy with my husband and want to go from here. I don't have money to file case against them. he is not filing too. What to do?

You can go to a NGO and meet the people there and ask for guidance or you can do to women's cell in Police station.

1) U will get all sthreedhan and marriage expenses.

2) Contact local Women NGO Organizations or Women Cell who will guide u.

3) File DV and 498A case. Do not file Divorce case from ur side. If he files

u can contest.

4) For free legal assistance, go to Bar Association office who will help u

if ur income is below 1 lac pa.
