Legal Question in Employment Law in India

I was an employee of Indian Airlines and have served the government organization from 1976- 1980 for 4 years .

However post resigning I was unable to trace my PF number and also I contracted the organization to find out my PF number

and the amount due to me however was not able to make a headway .

Q1 . How can I get to know my PF number ?

Q2 . Can I file an RTI to know my PF number and the amount due to me ?

Q3 . Can the full and final amount be paid to an account unknown to me and the money withdrawn too by some one else without my knowledge . Can I claim the PF now since it is 2013 .

Q4 . Which is the best legal option I have to claim the PF amount ,to find out my PF number and what is the status of my PF .

For any action, you need the full information.

If the employer is not sharing the information, apply through RTI. Get all details, like PF No., concerned PF Branch/or Trust, total amount in the account. Once you get it, a legal action can be advised.
